Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. User Cancellations
Whether you can cancel depends on one thing: how far away the slot was when you booked it.
Case 1 — Booked more than 90 minutes before the slot
A 10-minute free cancellation window opens the moment your payment is confirmed. A live countdown appears on your booking screen. If you cancel within those 10 minutes, the amount is immediately reversed — it never fully settles. For UPI and wallets this typically shows up same day. After the 10-minute window closes, the booking is final and no refund or cancellation is possible.
Case 2 — Booked within 90 minutes of the slot start (last-minute)
Slots this close to their start time can't be offered to anyone else once you claim them — the venue holds it exclusively for you. Because of this, there's no cancellation window. The app shows a clear notice and asks you to confirm before you pay. Think of it as claiming a last-minute deal: the price reflects the urgency, and the booking is final. (If the venue cancels on you, you always get a full refund — see Section 2.)
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| User cancels within 10 min (booked >90 min out) | Full reversal · Same day UPI · Up to 5 days cards |
| User cancels after the 10-min window | No refund |
| Last-minute booking (within 90 min of slot start) | Final booking · Slot held exclusively for you |
| Vendor cancels your confirmed booking | Full refund · Same day UPI · Up to 5 days cards |
| Vendor removes slot before anyone booked | No impact · No payment was taken |
| Slot expires naturally without a booking | No impact · No payment was taken |
The 10-minute countdown is visible as a live timer on your booking confirmation screen. You can tap Cancel directly from that screen while the window is open.
2. Vendor Cancellations
If a venue cancels your confirmed booking, you receive a full refund automatically — no action needed from you. The refund is initiated within minutes of the cancellation. You will receive a push notification the moment it's done.
How fast the money arrives depends on your payment method:
- UPI / Wallets: Same day (typically within a few hours).
- Debit / Credit cards: Up to 5 business days (set by your card network, not us).
- Net banking: 2–3 business days.
3. How Refunds Are Processed
All refunds are returned to the original payment method via Razorpay. We submit the refund request immediately — how quickly it lands depends on the payment method, not the time of day.
You can track your refund status in real time from the cancelled booking card in the Zrush app.
4. Failed Refunds
In rare cases, the automatic refund may fail (e.g., account closure, UPI handle changes). If this happens, the booking card will show a "Refund could not be processed automatically" notice with a button to contact us directly. We will process the refund manually within 2 business days.
5. No-Show Policy
If the venue was closed or the vendor was unavailable for your confirmed booking, you can report a no-show:
- Open My Bookings → find the completed booking → tap Report no-show.
- Reports must be submitted within 24 hours of your slot's end time.
- Our team will review the report and contact you within 48 hours.
- Verified no-shows are eligible for a full refund or a Zrush credit, at our discretion.
6. When Refunds Don't Apply
- Cancellations made after the 10-minute free window has closed.
- Last-minute bookings made within 90 minutes of the slot start — these are final claims and the venue can't relist them.
- No-show reports submitted more than 24 hours after the slot ended.
- Bookings where the user did not show up and did not report a no-show.
7. How to Request a Refund or Get Help
For booking-specific issues, use the Need Help? button on your booking in the Zrush app — this opens a WhatsApp chat with our support team with your booking details pre-filled.
For all other refund enquiries, email us at hello@zrush.in with your Booking ID. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
